Use the 1Vision IoT-2-PrintVis Connector to process your IoT Signals into PrintVis

The 1Vision365 IoT-2-PrintVis Application contains functionality to extend our 1Vision365 IoT Application specifically for receiving signals from IoT Devices and process them into the industry standard MIS software solution for Print, Label, Large Format and Packaging (printvis.com)

This solution is particularly interesting when you have machines that do not have intelligent communication possibilities like JDF/JMF (JDF Integration Matrix – CIP4 Organization)

PrintVis by default also supports Moxa integration, but only using the “pull” methodology. When you have multiple Moxa devices, this could turn into an issue when the Business Central Job Queue solution is constantly trying to pull data from the Moxa devices.

The 1Vision365 IoT-2-PrintVis Application uses the “push” methodology instead. Thus only devices that need to send data to PrintVis, will send data to PrintVis. This causes way less overhead for your system and is always up-to-date.

Use the corresponding adapter for this application to link your IoT Devices.

Adapters currently available are:

  • Moxa Adapter
  • ifm moneo adapter
